• I was there at the opening ceremony of Marathi Film Festival, which started with the Film "Sakhi". The house was so packed that there were at-least 400 people watching the movie in a 300 seat auditorium, and another 200 were waiting outside. The organizers never expected this kind of rush on the first day of the festival. But the Parivar Members were very kind to leave peacefully after being assured by Mr. Suresh Khare of another show of the same movie. Shri Suresh Khare promised that there would be another show absolutely free of charge for the same movie, immediately after the festival. However, in the interval Shri Lalit Shah announced that from tomorrow, there will be an extra screen put up outside, so no one will have to go back. That is the spirit.
